What Is Health?

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), health is defined as "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."

Physical health: Good body function and lifestyle, such as balanced diet, regular exercise, good personal hygiene, sufficient rest and sleep, limiting alcohol use, and avoiding smoking and drug abuse.
Mental health: Optimistic and cheerful mood, able to cope with stress and actively face difficulties, and willing to share with others and express one's feelings.
Social health: Establish a good relationship with people, participate in wholesome activities, and broaden individual's social circle and horizons.

"Subhealth” is a new terminology appears in recent years. It is "a state between health and disease when all necessary physical and chemical indexes are tested negative by medical equipments.”
In true, most people are lying at the subhealth state and this population is as high as 75%. Actually, it is a reversible state; we can back to healthy state if appropriate actions are taken, or suffer from diseases when the situation got worse. It is always easier for us to become healthy from subhealth other than taking a long way to store health from disease. More importantly, some disease and its corresponding treatments may bring irreversible damage to our body.
Risk factors of sub-health include "Six High & One Low", that is, high load (mental and physical), hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, high weight, and low immunity.

Thus, we should live in a healthy way immediately by:
- Balance diets and sufficient nutrients intake
- Enough rest and plenty of sleep
- Encourage variety of interests
- Ease the pressure and stress
- Selection of natural health supplements from a reliable brand.
